The international analytical agency in the field of higher education QS Quacquarelli Symonds has published subject rankings of the best universities in 2024. The rankings comprise 1,559 universities in the world, including eight higher education institutions of Ukraine.
According to the rankings results, Lviv Polytechnic National University is the best university in Ukraine by subject Engineering – Petroleum – 151–160 position. This is the highest indicator among Ukrainian higher education institutions. Lviv Polytechnic has been the leader by this subject for four years in a row.
By subject Computer Science and Information Systems, the University is ranked in the category 451–500 and is second among six Ukrainian institutions of higher education included in the rankings. By this subject, Lviv Polytechnic has been among the top three universities in Ukraine for four years.
The subject rankings use five indicators: academic reputation, employer reputation, research citations per paper, h-index, and international research network.
