The Department of Physical Education maintains international sports relations with many foreign organizations and institutions of higher education. Many students take part in the Olympic Games, World and European Championships, international tournaments. In particular, the men's basketball team participates in the European Championships among students, the women's basketball team annually participates in the international tournament in Bardejovo (Slovakia). The department cooperates with Politechnika Slanska (Poland), other educational institutions in Poland.
