Kateryna Luchechko, Khrystyna Izio and Tetiana Olikhovska, bachelor students majoring in International Economic Relations, the Department of Management and International Business, the Institute of Economics and Management, Lviv Polytechnic, shared their impressions about the peculiarities of studying at the University of Perugia in Italy, the opportunities provided by the Erasmus+ programme, and their personal experience.

The girls learned about the possibilities of studying in Italy under the Erasmus+ programme from their curator – Oleksandr Skybinskyi, Professor at the Department of Management and International Business. Afterwards the support was provided by the Lviv Polytechnic Center for International Education.

According to Kateryna Luchechko, the Italian university community welcomed our students with maximum support, and the city of Perugia impressed with its sights and atmosphere. Studying at an Italian university gives them a lot of new knowledge that they want to apply in Ukraine, interesting and useful information, as well as acquaintances not only with Italians, but also with Ukrainians, which significantly help to adapt in a new, very unusual society for the Lviv Polytechnic students.

The Faculty of Economics of the University of Perugia, where girls are studying, is distinguished by a large number of international students, which is an undeniable advantage, as it provides the opportunity to make a lot of friends and share experiences with students from all over the world.

Students of the Department of Management and International Business chose three disciplines for study, namely:

  • Human resource management;
  • Applied corporate finance;
  • Public sector, accounting and financial management.

Also, Kateryna, Khrystyna and Tetiana started to learn Italian, because they want to get deeper into the culture of the country they are in. Such an opportunity is provided by the Linguistic Center of the University of Perugia, where there is an Italian language course for foreigners.

The girls express their sincere gratitude to the Department of Management and International Business, the Institute of Economics and Management, for the opportunity to study and gain a unique experience in Italy and proudly represent Lviv Polytechnic National University and the entire country in such a difficult and important time for Ukraine!
