On October 21 a roundtable discussion on «Women in Uniform: Romance and the Realities of the Present» was held at the Institute of Jurisprudence and Psychology of Lviv Polytechnic National University. It was organized by IJPS and ELSA Lviv student organization.
Anna Saienko, the Chief of International Police Cooperation Department of the National Police of Ukraine in Chernivtsi region, Captain Tim Fox, Oregon State Police, and Kevin Moore, the Chief of Staff for Sen. Floyd Prozanski in the Oregon State Legislature, were the speakers.
The participants discussed cases on representation of women in law enforcement agencies, biased treatment of female police officers and overcoming stereotypes, mobbing at workplace, etc.
