For 200 years Lviv Polytechnic has been cultivating the national technical elite, developing and multiplying rich scientific and educational traditions, occupying a worthy place among the most leading institutions of higher education in our country.
Today Lviv Polytechnic is a powerful educational and scientific center of Ukraine, one of the oldest higher technical educational institutions in Europe and the world.
The structure of the University includes 16 Institutes, the Institute of Distance Education, the International Institute of Education, Culture and Diaspora Relations, 10 colleges and 100 Departments.
In the 2020/2021 academic year, Lviv Polytechnic provided training for: bachelor’s students majoring in 61 specialties, under 65 educational programs; master’s students – in 57 specialties, under 140 educational and 23 research programs; Doctors of Philosophy – in 55 specialties, 55 educational programs; Doctors of Sciences – in 38 specialties.
